Happy Thanksgiving! I'm grateful for the giant pile of laundry on my bed and the constantly messy house in spite if my constant clean up efforts and a sink full of dirty dishes and even a few more days of cleaning up dog pee because it means I'm in a house full of little people. :)

I sent this guy to lunch bunch without lunch. Yea that's right I forgot to pack him lunch. He said "that's ok mama I still love you". Now all the kids are regaling me with stories of times their moms forgot things. Kids really are the best.

15 months old and he's discovered the wonders of syrup. He won't eat pancakes and waffles without it. Lucky boy.

We picked 30lbs of apples last week and we have literally eaten almost all of them straight up. About two a day per person including James who likes them whole not in slices. I made this with the few we have last it's smitten kitchens apple slab. I hated every second of making this thing. But it looks pretty decent. Hope it tastes good. That's all my baking for the year.

First of all somehow these two only got good candy, not a bad thing in the batch. Where are all those black and orange candies?? Also she is organizing the candy and then redistributing telling him ok so I had all the plain m and ms right and you had all the peanut ones?
