It's snow fun

Today I almost didn't make the chicken and Harissa sauce because I didn't have tomato paste. Then I realized oh wait I have actual tomatoes. I puréed those in the blender then cooked them down with some salt until all of the water cooked down and I was left with paste. It worked like a charm. I only point this out to show how reliant we have all come on canned goods that really aren't necessary!
